JAMES LARKIN graduated from Texas A&M University with both a B.B.A. and a M.S. in Accounting in 1999. He became a CPA in 2000 after passing the exam on his first attempt and receiving the State of Texas' Top 10 Award - given to the 10 individuals with the highest scores for that year. He gained extensive experience in individual, partnership and corporate tax consulting at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young prior to joining Thompson, Derrig & Craig in 2007. He currently serves as the President of the Brazos Valley Chapter of the Texas Society of CPA's. He is a graduate of Leadership Brazos and has previously served on the Finance Council of the Brazos Children's Museum. He currently serves as the Chair of the Finance Council at St. Mary's Catholic Church as well as the Vice Chair of Finance for the Better Business Bureau. James is married to Elicia and they have three children, Jacob, Sarah and Matthew.
